I was a DJ back in the day of, “Two turntables and a microphone,” but I want to get back into the DJ business. I am have a laptop and a home computer and am interested in what type of DJ equipment to get if I want to DJ with my laptop and CDs instead of lugging around the “coffin” with my turntables. I am all for buying used equipment if it is reliable and while I want to go lean and inexpensive that doesn’t mean I want to go cheap and low quality. Any suggestions?

I’m still, after a few roadblocks in life lately, going to follow my dream and be a dj, and I need some old beat up equipment to practice on at home before I try it out in a club. I’m gonna bring tha ol’ school party back (when I learn how). Anybody out there with any ideas? My income situation’s a little shaky right now, I’m working on that too, so I need bargain store prices. Or even someone getting ready to throw some away.
